Getting the Main Idea (and Supporting Details)

Hi! This week we are reviewing how to identify the main idea of a text, then support it with details, or evidence from the text. Below are some websites with wonderful examples, videos, notes, and games to help you practice this skill!

Mrs. Warner has created and found WONDERFUL notes (and more!) all about main idea and supporting detail. I love this site!!!

To watch these videos, you will need to sign in to the website using our school's username and password. It is the same one that you use in the computer lab.

You will need to sign in for this one, too.
